The Church Library currently has over nine hundred texts and other educational items valuable to all of us wanting to gain insight into God’s will for us. In addition to Scripture and scriptural commentaries, writings of noted theologians and other religious authors range from historical treatises, to poetry and hymns, to contemporary guidance on personal and congregational life. These materials (books, videos, CDs and audio tapes) have been recently reorganized into several different Topic Categories (e.g. Small Group Study, Pastoral Care, etc.) and placed in thirty-nine (39) sections in the built-in bookcases of the RPC library. Hard copies of the list of documents can also be found in the library (on top of the half height
bookcase). These hard copy files will be updated periodically as new materials are purchased or donated.
If you would like to borrow any of these library materials, please do so. There are no restrictions on what can be borrowed or for how long they may be kept. However, if you do borrow items, keep them only as long as they are useful to you and do not forget that you have them as others may also wish to borrow them. When you return the item(s) please do NOT place them back on the shelves. Merely place them in the receptacle marked “Returned Materials”. If you wish to donate items to the library, place them in the receptacle marked “Donated Materials”. These receptacles can be found on the lower shelves of the larger bookcase.
